From Generations to Tharveda
At Tharveda, cow rearing is not just a business—it is our ancestral tradition. For generations, our families have combined kheti (farming) and cow care in the heart of Rajasthan. Even today, our relatives and fellow villagers stand with us, carrying forward this legacy together.
The desert of Rajasthan has always faced a major challenge—fodder scarcity. During monsoon, green fodder grows, but for most of the year, farmers rely only on dry fodder like wheat husk and rice straw, just to pass time for their cows.
But we at Tharveda chose a different path. Instead of compromising with our cows’ health, we started a unique system—every year, we bring our cows from Bikaner to our native village Bhakhranwali in Hanumangarh district, almost 500 km away, where water availability and fertile land allow us to grow organic green fodder.
Over time, many trustworthy farmers joined us, and today our collective strength has grown to over 1,755 cows, grazing freely in the charagah (pastures) and medano (grasslands) of Rajasthan.
For us, cow care is not about quantity—it is about quality, purity, and respect for nature.
Whether you’re at home or managing a busy schedule, our dependable delivery network makes sure your family never runs out of pure, nutritious milk. With real-time tracking, secure packaging, and early morning drop-offs, we take pride in delivering health and trust to your home — every single day.
We offer reliable doorstep delivery of milk and dairy products—fresh every morning.
We offer reliable doorstep delivery of milk and dairy products—fresh every morning.
Every year, we sow crops like bajra, moth, moong, maize, barley, and mustard seed cakes in our fields. These are harvested fresh, cut into small pieces with machines, and fed to our cows twice a day (morning & evening). This ensures that the cows always receive a nutritious, balanced, and chemical-free diet.
In addition to cultivated fodder, our cows graze freely on natural desert herbs such as neem, babul, and ashwagandha. These act as natural immunity boosters, keeping the cows disease-free without the need for chemical supplements.
Unlike many farmers who rely only on dry fodder like wheat husk or rice straw, we manage a dual-location fodder system:
Bhakhranwali (Hanumangarh district) – fertile land with water availability, perfect for green fodder cultivation.
Bikaner region – desert-side grazing pastures for open roaming and natural herb intake.
This combination ensures our cows never suffer from fodder scarcity, even in the toughest desert conditions.
At Tharveda, fodder is not just food—it’s a science of balance, care, and respect for our cows. We design our fodder system based on Rajasthan’s climate, ensuring that cows get nutritious, chemical-free diets year-round.

Every morning, our cows are fed with freshly cut green fodder such as barley, sorghum, pearl millet, maize, berseem, and oats.
Along with this, we include local grains like moth, mung, mustard cake, and seasonal crops from our own fields.
During the day, cows roam freely in open pastures and grasslands.
They graze on natural desert herbs like neem, babul, ashwagandha, and ak, which act as natural medicines, keeping them strong and disease-free.
In the evening, cows receive a balanced mix of green and dry fodder again.
In summers, we provide cooling fodders like berseem and sorghum.
In winters, we shift to energy-rich fodders like barley, bajra, and wheat husk.
With open skies, fresh desert air, and a calm environment, our cows live in a stress-free natural habitat.
This happy lifestyle directly reflects in their milk—pure, nutrient-rich, and naturally sweet.
From Family to Community
What began as a small family initiative soon grew into a larger movement. Local farmers, inspired by Tharveda’s natural and ethical dairy practices, joined hands with us.
Strength in Unity
Today, more than 1,755 cows are cared for collectively by our trusted farmer community. Each farmer follows the same discipline of seasonal fodder feeding, open grazing, and natural herb grazing.
Farmers exchange traditional wisdom of desert farming. Regular meetings ensure consistent quality and practices. Collective efforts reduce dependency on chemicals and external feeds.
By cultivating fodder in fertile regions like Bhakhranwali (Hanumangarh) and managing desert pastures in Bikaner, our farmers ensure year-round availability of nutritious fodder.
